Responsibilities: Navigating the Digital Landscape
As a M365/Azure Migration Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to lead and execute data and application migration tasks within the Azure and M365 environment. You will work closely with cloud platforms and on-premises applications, requiring SAML/SSO-enabled authentication, and handle SSO App registration in the Azure environment, including identity and authentication. Your role will involve:
- Mapping out the migration journey, defining infrastructure needs, and assessing license requirements.
- Migrating user mailboxes, calendars, files, and other M365 elements with a focus on minimizing impact on users and business operations.
- Strategically planning and executing migration projects, proactively addressing any issues and gaps that arise.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills: The Expertise We Seek
Ideal candidates will have:
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and associated technologies.
- Proven experience with large-scale Exchange Online migrations in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with migration packages such as BitTitan or Sharegate.
- Hands-on experience with the Azure environment, including Azure portal, Key Vault, resources, services, SSO, and AD aspects crucial for migration.
