Job Essentials – Your Role and Responsibilities

Position Overview:

As a Supply Chain Logistics & Distribution Lead, you will be at the forefront of our Phase 1 and Phase 2 Label Transition Program. This crucial one-year assignment offers the chance to significantly impact our supply chain activities and ensure the flawless execution of the program under the Logistics Center of Excellence (COE).

Key Tasks:
  • Leadership in Label Transition Initiatives: Spearhead critical initiatives linked to the separation and rebranding of the embecta product line, aligning with our label registration strategy for phases 1 and 2.
  • End-to-End Shipment Management: Oversee the entire journey of international shipments, maintaining transparency and ensuring all parties are informed at each stage.
  • Dashboard Management: Effectively validate the transition of data into a functional dashboard, providing real-time logistics performance insights.
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage label stock inventory for Phases 1 and 2 at each 3PL, guaranteeing adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Global Coordination: Collaborate with global 3PL partners to coordinate and oversee label transition-related postponement activities.
  • Travel Requirements: Be prepared for some domestic and international travel during the validation of postponement operations startup.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational and Professional Requirements:
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Logistics: Demonstrable expertise in logistics and transportation management, particularly with international shipments and dashboard management.
  • Supply Chain Proficiency: A solid grasp of supply chain principles and practices.
Key Competencies:
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical Approach: Detail-oriented with a strong ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software.
